Dariali Energy Service Accommodation

The building complex is a apart-hotel for the service staff of Dariali Energy JSC company currently operating a run-of-river hydro power plant near Dariali Gorge, within the region of Mtskheta-Mtianeti, well known in Georgia for its mountainous region and growing tourism industry.

Situated on an undulating rocky hillside leading to the Tergi River Valley, this 2029sqm site provides a picturesque setting for the project. It’s nestled between existing industrial buildings with an open view of the valley, and the Dariali Monastery Complex stands to the right, while the national customs checkpoint is to the left.

The building consists of two distinct blocks, one large and one small, each spanning three levels. The larger block contains 24 rooms, the smaller one has 9 rooms, and they share a canteen on the ground floor and a gym on the top floor. The entrances are strategically positioned between the blocks to facilitate easy access. The larger block is suspended on two points, creating a passage beneath the building toward the rear of the site.

The building’s facade features a concrete composite double cladding that wraps around the facades and the roof. Circular openings serve as balconies at the front and windows at the rear of the building.
